The Quaker Square Redevelopment Group is a collective of six Akron business leaders dedicated to the thoughtful revitalization of our city's most iconic landmark.
"We believe that history is not a museum piece to be observed from a distance, but a foundation upon which a vibrant, modern urban future can be built."
In 2025, our group acquired the historic Quaker Square property from The University of Akron. This was more than a commercial transaction; it was a commitment to the preservation of Akron's industrial soul.
Our vision for the site is a dynamic, mixed-use destination. By Q2 of 2027, the iconic silos and surrounding structures will house a luxury hotel, residential units, and a curated food hall. It will be a place where the city meets to dine, work, and stay.
While the broader redevelopment is underway, Quaker Station—our 28,000 square foot event facility—remains fully operational, hosting the moments that define our community today as we build for tomorrow.
